Michael is a public affairs executive with 25 years of experience in global, state, and federal government affairs, advocacy, communications, and market access focused on the life sciences, dietary supplement, and diagnostics industries. He has led efforts across therapeutic areas to enhance access to important advances in products through advocacy efforts that educate and call to action. Further, Michael’s executive management experience has provided him leadership opportunities in organizations preparing to launch pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and natural products both in the U.S. and globally. Michael began his career with Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and in his latest industry role was Vice President of Global Government Affairs and Advocacy with Novelion Pharmaceuticals. Michael is a founding partner of Acuity Strategic Partners, located in Washington, DC.
Ramsey is a regulatory and scientific professional with experience managing authorizations for novel drug and product categories. His primary role at Johnson Foods is to advise the company's regulatory and research strategy to ensure the research portfolio is aligned with company objectives and the expectations of regulators. Ramsey's direct management experience covers CMC, non-clinical toxicology, clinical research, and regulatory/government engagement for consumer products, tobacco products, dietary ingredients, and drugs. He is currently the Director of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs at Della Terra Pharmaceuticals and a Scientific Advisor at Olistica Life Sciences Group.
